Day of Action - Sunday 5th July 2009

On Sunday 5th July the Norfolk Non-native Species Initiative held the first county-wide Day of Action to control invasive alien plants. Activities were held across the county, with over 40 volunteers helping to remove invasive plants from some of the county's worst affected areas. Below are photos from two of the events on the day:

If you didn't manage to come along to the Day of Action on 5th July, but still want to do your bit to help stop the spread of invasive species, then why not come along and help us clear rhododendron at Fritton Lakes Country Park on Saturday 5th September? The activities will run between 9am-2pm. Please contact Holly Berwick for more details (E-mail: Holly.Berwick@nwl.co.uk)
